Participate in USI Day at the Zoo April 16

The event, sponsored by the USI Alumni Association, is open to USI alumni, students, employees, and their families. Children will enjoy making pinecone bird feeders, animal masks, and animal puppets at the Student Alumni Association booths located at the Zoo Entry Plaza. There will be two animal encounters at the Student Alumni Association tent, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and 2 to 2:30 p.m. Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden is home to over 700 animals, thousands of diverse botanic species, and the indoor rainforest exhibit Amazonia, Forest of Riches. The Children's Enchanted Forest offers a petting zoo, animal exhibits, and a playground. To view a full description of what Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden has to offer visit www.meskerparkzoo.com . USI activities begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. Zoo hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the USI group admission charge is $6.50 for adults and $5.50 for children ages three and up.
