Family-friendly SpringFest
The carnival atmosphere will offer fun, food, and festivities for all ages. Free outdoor concerts will begin at 1 p.m. each day according to this performance schedule: Friday, April 8 1:00 -1:45- Lindsay Brandt 2:00-2:45- Unkle Samm 3:00-3:45- The Cold Stares 4:00-4:45- Casey Williams 5:00-5:45- Hailey Whitters 6:00-6:45- The Pharos 7:00-7:45- This Noise Saturday, April 9 11:00-11:45- Dj 12:15-12:30- Midwest Hype 12:45-1:30- Red Wire 1:45- 2:30- Stereo Shoutout 2:45-3:30- Kid Yellow 3:45- 4:30- The Scandalmongers 4:45- 5:30- Stockholm Robot 5:45- 6:30- Soylent Coil 6:45- 7:30- The Willows 7:40- 8:00- Dj More than 20 carnival rides will be coming to campus for Springfest. The list includes Scrambler, Loop-O-Plane, Hurricane, Tempest, Merry-Go-Round, Zipper, Construction Zone, Strawberries, Cha/Cha, Granny Bugs, Tilt-A-Whirl, motorcycles, kiddie ferris wheel, kiddie karousel, The Dragon, Tubs of Fun & Hampton Combo, boats, kiddie swings, super slide, The Jungle, Wacky Shack, and Bounce Castle. Carnival food such as walking tacos and pronto pups will be available along with fish and chicken sandwiches, beverages, ice cream, and more. Tickets for rides are $2 each or a wrist band will be available for $16 to ride all day. Rides are free for USI students, and children and grandchildren of faculty and staff members.
