Sarah Harlan Administrative Associate News & Information Services 812/465-7005 More than 50 students have been added to the spring 2011 Honors List at the University of Southern Indiana. Some final grades were submitted after the original list was published. Dr. Ronald Rochon, provost, reported that 1,916 students were named to the 2011 spring Honors List. Students must achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average (on a 4.0 system) to be named to the list. Undergraduate students earning no IN (incomplete) grades for the term and earning letter grades of computable point value (satisfactory/unsatisfactory and pass/no pass graded courses do not apply) in 12 or more semester hours with a semester grade point average between 3.5 to 4.0 are named to the list. Note to students: You have two options if you expect your name to be on the list, and you cannot find it. Your name may be listed under the Evansville city listing if you submitted Evansville as your address with the Office of the Registrar. View the PDF version of the Honors List (which now has additional names). Scroll through the list to find the Evansville listing. The list is arranged alphabetically by state and city. You may also use the search function in the PDF, type in Evansville, and hit search to locate the city. Then scroll to your name. Contact Tracy Sinn in the Office of the Registrar if you expected to make honors, but your name is not on the list. That office will give News and Information Services your name and hometown if you qualify for the Honors List. The Honors List is arranged by student's hometown under the address he/she has provided to the University. The list may be accessed by clicking on the link below.
