USI Varsity Club announces board

The 21-person board will be chaired by John Schutz '82. Schutz has been a Varsity Club member for over 25 years, a three-year board member, and a past president of the USI Alumni Association. Along with Schutz, the officers are Donita Wolf '83, first vice chair Bob Werner, treasurer and Janet Werner, secretary. John Campbell '00 M'06 is the past chair. New to the board are Elizabeth Tenbrook '07 M'10, Kevin Hammett '90, Peter Whiting M'10, Stuart Mosby '95, Don Powers '74, and Jerry Clewlow. Mosby and Clewlow were appointed to fill vacancies on the board. Renewed and continuing terms on the board are Kenny Gentry, Chris Jenkins '02, Bitsy Mourning, Jim Dippel '77, Justin Schmitt, Yvonne Floyd, Amy Nunn '98, Larry Riney, Karla Horrell '77, and Cindy Renschler '79. Floyd and Riney are co-chairing the Steak Fry & Auction, while Gentry is chairing the Varsity Club Fall Festival booth this fall. John Deem, former USI Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, was appointed by the Varsity Club Board of Directors as its first honorary board member. |
