New version of Blackboard installed for fall semester

Beginning in the fall semester, University of Southern Indiana students will notice a new version of Blackboard when they log in to their MyUSI accounts. The latest version of Blackboard, version 9.1, has a more modern look and feel and provides new tools for use in online classrooms such as blogs, wikis, and journals.

Blackboard supports the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome. You must have the latest version of java. To find out if your computer is compatible, click here.

The newest version of Blackboard offers a Blackboard Mobile Learn application, giving students and faculty the ability to access their courses, content, and organizations on select mobile devices (iOS devices - iPhone, iPad, and iPodTouch - over Wi-Fi, or on Android and Blackberry devices on the Sprint network).
