"We encourage people to leave plenty of extra time to get on campus, maybe plan on arriving a little early, beating the big rush of traffic," Todd Wilson, assistant vice president for Marketing and Communications, said. "Consider all routes, and avoid using the Lloyd when you can."
Drivers coming east on Hwy. 62 (Lloyd Expressway) won't encounter the delays. Students heading west may want to consider taking the University Parkway, north of campus, or Broadway Avenue to Schutte Road and entering campus by Clarke Lane.
Steve Woodall, director of USI Security, suggests commuters take advantage of USI Zimride, a rideshare community. Learn more about Zimride here.
