Service Learning Program plans work party

USI′s Service Learning Program will host an Adopt-a-Spot Work Party from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 22 at the Shirley James Gateway Plaza, located along the Pigeon Creek Greenway Passage on John Street off of Fulton Avenue.

Participants will help plant flowers donated by the Master Gardeners and bulbs provided by the Evansville Parks Department. Attendees should wear closed-toe shoes and clothing they don′t mind getting dirty.

The event is being funded through a grant from Youth Service America. All are welcome to attend.
