Students will have the opportunity to drive a golf cart on a course on the USI Quad - but they will be required to wear Fatal Vision Goggles with special lens technology that allows the wearer to experience a realistic simulation of impairment. A USI security officer will ride along and discuss drinking and driving. Staff from the USI Counseling Center and the Department of Recreation, Fitness and Wellness also will be on hand.
The drunk driving simulation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, October 21, on the Quad.
Other activities this week included a cookout with free hotdogs and a Spanish-themed non-alcoholic margarita party with games and prizes at Salsa Rico in University Center East.
