Sabrina Harpenau Student Worker News & Information Services 812/465-1192 Established in 1996, the USI Chamber Choir was created from a combination of the USI Mid-America Singers and Band and the USI Madrigal Singers Show Choir. The USI Chamber Choir in 2001 became the sole mixed voice ensemble at USI. Made up of students from all disciplines, the USI Chamber Choir promotes performances of choral music in an artistic setting, including medieval carols, secular pieces, and contemporary settings of liturgical and secular choral music. The USI Chamber Choir produces the USI Madrigal Feaste in early December, prepares concerts for the University community, and represents the University in song throughout the United States and Europe.
