USI brings NASA workshop (and more) to area teachers

Wendy Knipe Bredhold Media Relations Specialist, News & Information Services 812/461-5259 This year's conference will feature a workshop by Susan Kohler, Aerospace Education Services Project (AESP) Education Specialist with the NASA Glenn Research Center. Kohler will present "On the Moon with NASA-Engineering Design Challenges" from 11:15 a.m. to noon in Education Center Room 2113. With hands-on projects such as an air-powered rocket and a rubber band-powered moon rover, she will show teachers how to bring engineering and the adventure of space exploration to life for students.
