Service Quality
There are five major elements used by customers
to evaluate the quality of the service. The five elements, listed in the most
common order of importance are: reliability (ability to perform the promised
service dependably and accurately), responsiveness (willingness to help
customers and provide dependably and accurately), assurance (employees'
knowledge and courtesy inspire trust), empathy (caring, individualized
attention), and tangibles (appearance of physical facilities).
What is Value?
Customer perceived value is the difference between what the customer thinks
they received and what the customer thinks they gave up. There are four main
categories of benefits and four categories of costs.
Who are customers and where are more
of 'em?
Merely looking for more customers who look just like the customers already
served usually isn't productive for firms/products that have been around for a
period of time. Additional customers that come usually don't look or behave
like existing customers for firms that want to grow aggressively.
SPIN Selling
SPIN selling is a structured questioning technique designed to uncover the
customer's needs. The questioning technique uncovers the benefits most
sought by the buy and allows sales reps to effectively sell to the customer's
individual motivation for buying.
Any area of marketing strategy or marketing research can be adapted as needed.
