Present: Julie Bordelon, Debbie Clark, Lurretta Daugherty, Carol Diedrich, Yvonne Floyd, Linda Harmon, Donna Hopf, Chris Jines, Terry Martin, Molly McConnell, Sheree Seib, Jalane Weber,

Debbie Clark called the meeting to order at 2:02 p.m.
A motion to approve the minutes was given by Terry Martin and 2nd by Yvonne Floyd.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Employee Relations Committee Review of the Springfest was reported; we started with 400 tickets and of those 400, 373 were reserved with 366 tickets picked-up. There were 34 tickets left over. Economic Benefits Short-term disability is the discussion on the table. The committee will be contacting Human Resources to see what information they might already have. Nominating Donna Hopf reported that 9 people were nominated to Staff Council. The number of nominations is the exact number of people needed to fill the Staff Council. Ballots will go out in campus mail and then all ballots will be counted.
NEW BUSINESS:
Debbie Clark read a memoriam for employee Rebecca Warford, who passed away in April.
OLD BUSINESS:
The Fall meeting is scheduled for Thursday August 12, 2004. Possible program ideas for the meeting were discussed.
Part of the program will address issues on the current Self Study of the University that is being conducted for the NCA visit. Staff input is needed, so small focus groups will be conducted during this time.
DISCUSSION & ANNOUNCEMENT:

Motion for the meeting to be adjourned was made by Pam Van Vorst and 2nd by Julie Bordelon.
