A brief meeting was held following the Staff Council Retreat at Grimes House

Staff Council will be recognized as celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary at the Fall Support Staff meeting and it will be mentioned at the next Board of Trustees meeting.

A request was made by Barb Goodwin to take pictures of staff in each department to use for the fall meeting slide show.

Eagles Nest closing at 1:00 during the summer makes it inaccessible to many employees who must stagger lunch times. Someone will ask if it would be possible to extend hours until 1:30.

Fall parking is a concern, along with long lines on expressway.  There is hope that the new lights will ease traffic flow.

The Clerical Support Lunch was changed from July 26 to July 25 and was then included as part of the retreat day.

Next meeting will be August 30 at 9:30 a.m. in UC 215.

Lois Stevens made a motion to adjourn which was seconded by Michelle Herrmann.
