Approved Minutes for Retreat Meeting

Present: Sandi Migonis, Debbie Clark, Terry Martin, Darlene Fisher, Molly McConnell, Terri Schaefer, Karen Anderson, Renee Scholfield, Pam VanVorst, Jalene Weber, Yvonne Floyd, Chris Jines, Linda Harmon, Sara Siminski, Margaret Flewallen and Donna Hopf.

1) Sandi Migonis called the meeting to order at 10:00 am

i) Sandi presented an overview and history of Staff Council

(a) Several group actitivies were done as ice breakers. The actitivies demostrated the need to work together as a team on a task and to look “outside the box” for possible solutions to an issue.

ii) Sandi then proceeded with the elections. The results:

(a) Chair: Debbie Clark
(b) Vice Chair: Terry Martin
(c) Secretary: Retta Daugherty

2) Members chose the committee on which they wanted to serve this session. The results are:

• Employee Relations Committee:
  Mary Reddington, Margaret Flewallen, Chris Jines, Renee Schofield, Jalane, Weber, Denise Bulger, Linda Harmon, Karen Anderson and Terri Schaefer
• By-Law Committee:
  Melody Sponn
• Nominating Committee:
  Donna Hopf and Sara Siminski
• Economic Committee:
  Becky Warford, Yvonne Floyd, Pam Van Vorst, Darren Shelton, Terry Martin, Retta Daugherty
