v. Mandi Fulton volunteered to help with the process.

Employee Relations Committee Report is attached. (Summary below)

vi. Web Page is looking good, reminder for all to visit it.

vii. Student Worker Week is March 31-April 4, 2003. Terry Martin sent flyer out to all departments for use in announcements. Food Service will be preparing a bagged treat for those who want to purchase it and offering discounts to student workers.

viii. Staff Picnic "Beach Party" is Thursday, May 29, 2003. Announcements will be coming to volunteer.

ix. Family Day with the Eagles is March 30, and April 6, 2003, at the ball games. Door prizes will be awarded to some of the employees during the fifth inning.

New Business

x. All third shift employees have to make an extra trip to USI to talk to someone in Human Resources. It is suggested that Human Resources have someone available at 5:00 a.m. or 10:00 p.m. or on a published schedule. This could be done at least once a week to accommodate all evening shifts.

xi. Don Broshears announced that the March of Dimes will be coming in April and USI is encouraged to participate.

Old Business

xii. Nancy Johnson reported to Sandi Migonis that twenty companies have responded in a positive way and will offer discounts to USI.

xiii. Don Broshears asked that the No Smoking policy be addressed again and changed to No Tobacco policy. There is a lot of chewing tobacco spitting in the water fountains, sinks, and floors. Linda Dillbeck will mention the problem at the Substance Abuse Committee meeting on Friday.

Dave Huebner motioned to adjourn the meeting at 10:45 a.m. And Terry Martin seconded the motion.
