Stephen Pace, a founding member of the New York School Abstract
Expressionists, was Artist in Residence in the College of
Liberal Arts in November. Here, he gives painting student

and gave a public lecture. Pace grew up in Posey County and
resides in New York and Maine. He was awarded an honorary
doctoral degree from USI in 2002.
