Stephen Pace, a founding member of the New York School Abstract Expressionists, was Artist in Residence in the College of Liberal Arts in November. Here, he gives painting student Belinda Holsing (left) feedback on her work as Tiffany Nicholl (right) awaits her turn. While on campus, Pace visited classes and gave a public lecture. Pace grew up in Posey County and resides in New York and Maine. He was awarded an honorary doctoral degree from USI in 2002.
