Welcome
Wanda
Douglas has
accepted a position as instructor in nursing in the College of
Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a Master of Science
in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Tech University
Health Sciences Lubbock, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from
Olney Central College. Douglas was formerly director of education
for Texas Nurses Association.
Rebecca
Gallagher has
accepted a position as instructor in nursing in the College of
Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a Master of Science in
Nursing degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from USI
and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Indiana University.
Gallagher was formerly a family nurse practitioner at St. Mary's
Senior Health Center.
Emily
Holt has accepted a position as
assistant professor of dental hygiene/assisting in the
College of
Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a Master of Health
Administration degree, a Bachelor of Science degree, and an
Associate of Science degree from USI. Holt was formerly employed as
a dental hygienist.
Dustin
Murray has accepted a position as
assistant baseball coach in Athletics. He was a student assistant at
the University of Wisconsin-Parkside last year. He is a native of
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His bachelor's degree is from UW-Parkside.
Gina
Schaar has accepted a position as
instructor in nursing for
the College of
Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a Master of Science in
Nursing degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from
University of Evansville.
Jacob Venard
has accepted a position as a lab technician in Medical Education.
Transfers/promotions
Brian
Hinterscher,
area
coordinator in Residence Life, has been promoted to advisor in
University Division.
Chandra
Phillips,
conference coordinator in Residence Life, has been promoted to area
coordinator in Residence Life.
Accomplishments
Matthew Graham,
director of Creative Writing, has had his poem “After the War; When
Coltrane Only Wanted to Play Dance Tunes” published in the anthology
Jazz Poems, Everyman’s Library, Alfred A. Knoph, New York and
London. He also has a new poem accepted for publication in the
literary journal Inertia. |
