Passings
Student Rachel Reed drowned in Florida on August 21. She was a junior majoring in special education. Lynn Reed, Rachel's mother, said that Rachel had a wonderful experience from the moment she came to USI. Services were held on August 27 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel. Contributions may be made to the Rachel Reed Memorial Scholarship Fund for Special Education in care of Horizon Bank, 2650 Willowcreek Rd. Portage, IN 46368.
