This year’s theme, “Going
Green”, showcases prints that encourage viewers to think about their
impact on the environment.
Artists were asked to donate an edition of 20 original prints that
reveal their commitment to preserving the earth.
The prints’ contents range from motivational text to criticisms
of genetic engineering to quiet reflections of natural wonders.
Encouraged to use local, sustainable products for their prints,
several artists employed natural inks, hand-made or recycled paper,
found or recycled objects, and eco-friendly printing techniques.
The exhibition should satisfy the art appreciator, collector, or
environmentalist in all of us.
