Survey and Research Services
The
Office of Planning, Research, and Assessment is able to provide assistance with any aspect of
a research project, from survey construction, design, implementation, to
analysis. Our consulting services include:
- Research design consulting
- Cognos report assistance
- Survey development and design
- Web survey design and hosting
- Data analysis
- SPSS programming assistance
- Report writing / graphs
- Assessment design / consultation
Institutional Review Board (IRB) Policy
To ensure that the USI Office of Planning, Research,
and Assessment is in compliance with Institutional Review Board (IRB)
regulations, we are requiring all survey clients (internal and external) to
contact the Office of Sponsored Research to verify what type of IRB review,
if any, is needed prior to fielding any type of survey.
The client is responsible for forwarding the Office of
Sponsored Research response as to whether or not IRB review is necessary to
our office. A response by email is acceptable.
If IRB review is required, the paper work required for
such review will be the responsibility of the client. Final documentation
that IRB approval has been received must be forwarded to the Office of
Planning, Research, & Assessment prior to the survey field start date.
Fees
Survey and research services are provided to University of Southern
Indiana faculty, staff, and administration at no cost.
We also provide
these services to community organizations, not-for-profit and for-profit
businesses, and government agencies on a fee-for-service basis.
