Day
The Assessment Day exam, administered the second Tuesday of
November, tests general education skills. All full-time freshmen and juniors are
required to sit for the exam.
The University of Southern Indiana currently uses the ETS
Proficiency Profile (formerly the MAPP - Measure of Academic Proficiency and
Progress) abbreviated form, measuring proficiency in critical thinking, reading,
writing and mathematics in humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.
