Application Process

Information Session

To learn more about the AMIGO position or the interview process, plan to attend the AMIGO Information Session on Thursday, October 27 at 4 p.m. in Rice Library 0017. You'll be able to get first-hand knowledge about being an AMIGO from former AMIGOs and staff from the Office of Student Development Programs.

Application Deadline

Applications are available on-line from October 24, 2011-November 11, 2011. Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on November 11. You will sign up for a group interview when you submit your application.

Group interviews

The first step of the interview process is the group interview. You will perform certain tasks with other AMIGO applicants to see how well you work in a group of people. The group interviews will be during the week of November 14-18.

Individual interviews

The second step of the interview process is the individual interview. You will sit down with USI staff members to answer questions in a more traditional interview setting. The individual interviews will be during the week of November 28-December 2.

Notification date

All applicants will be notified about whether or not they will be offered an AMIGO position during the week of December 5.

First Meeting

The 2012 AMIGO team will meet together for the first time on Wednesday, December 7.
