Disability Resources

Students with disabilities are encouraged to register for academic accommodation assistance through the USI Counseling Center. Registration includes submitting the appropriate Counseling Center disability verification form with the requisite attachments completed by a licensed clinical specialist, at least 60 days before academic accommodations are needed. Contact the Counseling Center staff at 812/464-1961 as soon as possible to ensure adequate time to complete the registration process. The Counseling Center is located in the Orr Center, room 1051 on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Students requiring accommodations on their placement tests should complete the registration process in the Counseling Center prior to scheduling a placement test appointment.

If you or your guests require accommodations to participate in orientation, notify the Orientation staff by filling in the appropriate area of the online reservation form or on the paper reservation form at least three weeks prior to your session.
