No on-campus housing will be provided for students or their guests during the January orientation session. However, if you will be living in University housing in the spring, you are able to move into your spring housing assignment.

In order to move in on January 4, you must be registered for the January 5 orientation session, have applied for a 2011-2012 Housing Contract (Spring 2012 only), paid the $50 application fee, been offered and signed a Housing contract, and paid the $200 prepayment. After the contract has been signed, cancellation fees will apply. Housing assignments will be given at the time of check-in.  

If you need to move in earlier than January 4, you will need to fill out an early request form by December 15, 2011. Please note this is only a request and you will need confirmation from Housing & Residence Life to move in early. You may move in from 1-4:30 p.m. on January 4 or January 5; please check-in at the Housing Office, 839 Pruis Lane, 812/468-2000. Students must check into their housing prior to or after the orientation program.
