Transcripts/Transfer Credits If you have taken any course work while in high school that could be considered for college credit - university level/dual credit courses, Advanced Placement, CLEP, CAP or International Baccalaureate - please be advised that this could alter the courses for which you will want to register. Final transcripts from all schools attended must be received by the University. Once we have received them we will complete a transcript evaluation, which will assist in accurate advising. Having all transcripts on file at least two weeks prior to your orientation session will speed up your registration and advising process. Be aware that if we do not have transcripts you may enroll in duplicate courses or enroll in course you will not need, may be required to take additional placement tests, or delay your registration for USI courses. We recommend that you bring copies of your transcripts to the orientation session. We strongly recommend that you contact Mary Branson, mbranson@usi.edu, 812/465-7171 or 800/467-1965 option #3 with any questions you have regarding transcripts and transfer credits.
