Fireworks Rally: is Saturday June 6th, at noon at Bell Oaks Schnucks.  The traditional fireworks buttons on sale -  it’s a party to kick off our Newburgh Celebrates Independence!  Proceeds from all the buttons go towards the Fireworks & Evening in the Park Event.  Buttons are $5.00 each.

The American Civil War comes to Indiana. Guards were placed on the mill to prevent Morgan’s Raiders from sabotaging it. re-enactors portray what could have happened had Morgan targeted the mill.

Funeral Murder Mystery

This Murder Mystery takes place in 1892 with the death of William S. Culbertson.  As people pay their last respects at Mr. Culbertson’s wake, there is great speculation about “Who will inherit What” from the richest man in Indiana.  Little did anyone know that tempers would flare, and greed can always lead to murder. Advance payment & reservations are required. Guests can enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and an interactive history experience. Reservations & advance payment required.

Heritage Federal Credit Union 2015 Fireworks and Evening in the Park: is July 3rd with rain date set for July 5th.  At 5 pm the streets close and the games begin.  It is an old fashion summer social with food, games and music. What makes it special is the location at the Old Lock and Dam Park which is on the banks of the Ohio River. The Fireworks begin at 9 pm – it’s one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in area! Free.
