This is an introductory course in human resource management. Essentials of Human Resource Management will provide participants with broad overview of the human resource function. Key topic areas include: Essentials of HR Management, Employment Law in Your Workplace, Elective Recruiting and Selection Techniques, Basic Compensation, Orienting and Training Your Employees, and Ensuring Quality Performance. This class is officially sanctioned by the Society for Human Resource Management.
