Mission Statement

To promote pedestrian, cyclist, and motorist safety while expediting the efficient flow of traffic on the USI campus and providing sufficient parking facilities for students, visitors, faculty, and staff.

Office Hours

The USI Office of Public Safety – Parking Department office is on the north side of the Security Building, which is located west of the University Center. The Parking Department office phone number is (812) 465-1091.

Spring and Fall Semesters

    Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 10:30 pm

    Saturday, CLOSED

    Sunday, 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm

Summer Semester and Spring Break

    Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm*

    Saturday & Sunday, CLOSED

Closed on School Holidays

    *Subject to staff availability - call first

After Parking Department business hours, questions or concerns regarding traffic or parking issues may be directed to the Security Department, located on the south side of the Security Building, in person or by phone at (812) 464-1845. The Security Department is staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
