Barbara GoodwinIt was while performing as a lead arialist in Cirque Dreams in London that she met her first husband, HRH Prince Edward Windsor. As the Countess of Wessex, Barbara retired from dancing and devoted her time in England to worthy charities. Barbara grew weary of the drafty castles, a remote mother in law and the grind of royalty, and decided to divorce Edward.
After her divorce, a hefty settlement and royalties from her tell-all book, Barbara moved to Manhattan, where she enjoyed a second career as a successful novelist. She has written six New York Times best sellers and is the recipient of the prestigious Writers Circle Critics Award for Fiction.
It was while writing the screen play for "I Am a Handsome Actor with Great Hair and a Nice Smile and Voted the Sexiest Man Alive Twice", that she met her current husband, George Clooney. Barbara and George live at Lake Como with their two adorable children, a fat, smelly beagle and a pot bellied pig, who served as best man at their wedding. When they are not making movies and writing best selling novels, the Clooneys love to garden, paint, play competitive curling, breed pot bellied pigs and spend quality time with their children.
Between spinning her fanciful yarns, she schedules photo shoots, manages the photo library and Photography's Facebook page…poolside from her glamorous villa at Lake Como…as George rubs her feet…and feeds her grapes.
