University Board of Trustees
A board of nine trustees, appointed by the Governor, governs the University. This board must include one alumnus of the University, one current student, and one resident of Vanderburgh County. Trustee terms are four years, except the student term, which is two years. The board has powers and duties common to public postsecondary institutions in the State of Indiana.
