Athletics
The University of Southern Indiana participates in NCAA Division II intercollegiate athletics and is a charter member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The goal of the athletics program is to achieve national prominence in all 15 of its intercollegiate team sports (women’s basketball, softball, soccer, cross country/track, tennis, volleyball, and golf; and men’s basketball, baseball, soccer, cross country/track, tennis, and golf) while maintaining academic excellence. The University is proud of the academic achievements of its student athletes, who maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0.
