Obtaining your MyUSI Password

Your MyUSI Password provides access to many student records.  It is important to ensure that no unauthorized use or misuse occurs, and that your password remains confidential. Do not give your password to anyone!

A MyUSI “configure secrets” page will prompt new users to answer five questions (default questions are provided, but you have the option of changing them). These secrets will act as an alternate security access. If you should happen to forget your password in the future, click on the “Forgot your password? Click here” at the bottom of the Secure Access Login section of the main MyUSI login page. You will be prompted to answer three of your secret questions, and if successful, you will be allowed to reset your password yourself.

If you are a currently enrolled student at the University of Southern Indiana, you may obtain your MyUSI password two additional ways:

  1. Visit the MyUSI helpdesk (in the Computer Center) and present a photo ID, or

  2. Call the MyUSI helpdesk at (812)465-1070 to receive your MyUSI password

If you are NOT a currently enrolled student at the University of Southern Indiana you may obtain your MyUSI password in either of two ways:

  1. Visit the MyUSI helpdesk (in the Computer Center) and present a photo ID, or

  2. Print the on-line MyUSI Password Request Form (Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read and print this form).  Please fill out the form, include a photocopy of a photo ID, and fax to (812)464-1911 or mail to:
