Undergraduate Students

All continuing and readmitting undergraduate students are eligible for priority registration. If you are not/were not enrolled in the most recent semester, but have been enrolled previously, you must first complete Undergraduate Readmission procedures.

New Undergraduate Students

New students are not eligible for priority registration. As a new freshman or transfer student, you will be required to participate in an Orientation program to introduce you to USI. After completing Orientation, you will work with an academic advisor who will assist you with course selection and registration for classes.

Graduate Students

Continuing and non degree-seeking or guest graduate students are scheduled for priority registration by their graduate program. If you are not/were not enrolled in two or more of the most recent fall/spring semesters, but have been enrolled previously, contact the School of Graduate Studies to begin the readmission process.

New Graduate Students

If you are a new graduate student and have not initiated application procedures for the upcoming semester, you must first be admitted to graduate study.

Online Learning

USI students register for USI online learning courses in the same way they register for traditional courses. More information about online learning is available at www.usi.edu/onlinelearning.
