Exploring Majors Living Learning Community
The
Exploring Majors Living Learning Community provides a supportive and challenging
learning community for students without a chosen major or career direction in
mind. This LLC provides students intentional opportunities to engage in
the major/career exploration process and better understand their own strengths,
interests, and abilities. Residents have access to programming, including
workshops, special events with faculty in a variety of academic disciplines, and
Internet-guided major and career exploration. One of the most popular
features of the program involves field experiences that provide students with a
behind-the-scenes look at various careers in the Evansville community.
The LLC fosters an environment for achieving academic success, building relationships, and encouraging students to get involved with campus organizations and activities. Students who get connected and involved are more successful in their college careers. Throughout the year the LLC offers many opportunities for students to get involved and incentives to stay involved.
