Incentive Programs - Spring 2008

Miler's Club

July 1, 2007- June 30, 2008
 
 

This is a year-long program that encourages and rewards all types of physical activity.  You can sign up at the front desk and can log your activities in the RFC front desk computer.  You can receive points for activities and prizes are awarded at 1000, 3000, and 5000 points.

     
RFC Orientations

January 14-26, 2008
 

 

This new service is designed to help new participants become comfortable and learn about the programs and services offered by the Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness Department.

     
RFC Fitness Consultations

July 1, 2007- June 30, 2008
 

 

A fitness consultant meets with clients individually to create a safe, effective exercise program based on the client's abilities and goals.  Clients may schedule as many as three appointments per week, none exceeding a one hour time limit.

     
USI on the Move

January 28- May 3, 2008
 

 

This is an online program that allows participants to track either daily steps or activity minutes.  Participants can sign up for the program at the RFC front desk.  They will complete the registration form and receive a pedometer as well as instructions on how to sign up online.

     
Tough Tuesday Fitness Challenge

January 29, February 26, March 25, April 29, 2008
 

 

This monthly challenge takes place the third Tuesday of each month during the spring semester.  This program will challenge participants in a variety of ways to help motivate them to achieve their fitness goals.  Those completing all of the challenges will receive a prize.

     
Weight Lifting Club

January 28-April 12, 2008
 

 

This incentive program is designed to motivate and encourage you to include strength training in your workouts.  You can complete a different lift each week.  Those participants that complete at least one of the lifts will be awarded a t-shirt.  Participants that lift the most in each weight class will receive a sweatshirt at the end of the program.

Weight Lifting Classes:

Massage Rewards

February 19, March 18, April 15, 2008
 

 

This program is designed to encourage participants to attend our group exercise classes.  Participants pick up a "Massage Rewards" card at the front desk or from a group exercise instructor.  Once the participant completes 10 group exercise classes, he/she is eligible to receive a free 10-minute chair massage.  massage therapists will be on campus once each month.  Participants can sing up at the front desk.

     
Nix the Fix Smoking Cessation Classes

February 6, 13, 20, 27 @ 5pm.
 

 

This four-week program is designed to give participants the tools to quit tobacco.  A variety of methods to help participants Nix the Fix will be taught.  Participants will receive a handbook and a quit pack.

     
Safe Spring Break Fair
