Intramurals at the University of Southern Indiana
is one of the most popular extracurricular activities on campus. We
offer team, dual or individual sports for everyone. Choose to play in a
league or just come out for a one day activity to compete for an
intramural champion t-shirt. Intramurals is a great way to meet new
friends or interact with your old ones. The Intramural staff organizes
and monitors the activities, and supervises play; all that is needed
from you is to bring a smile on your face, have fun, have good
sportsmanship and have an incredible time.

- Intercollegiate athletes may not participate in the sport of their specialty if they are listed on their team's roster from last year. They must sit out one academic year before becoming eligible to play. When they become eligible to play they may do so under the "ringer rule" which limits the number of eligible intercollegiate athletes to one per intramural team. Current varsity athletes include those whose names appear on a team roster of a two or four year school, transfer students, red-shirts, scholastic ineligible players, or individuals who are cut from or quits an intercollegiate team after the season begins.
- All collegiate coaches are considered members of their team, and are therefore restricted from participation in the sport of their specialty.
- A club sport member who practices and participates in club sports shall be eligible to compete in that sport and/or related sport. However, the "ringer rule" governs and limits the number of prospective club sport members to one per intramural team.
