New Harmony Inn
Modern hotel accommodations featuring Shaker-style furnishings; elevator access to upper floors; greenhouse pool; small fitness center; adjacent to Bayou Grill Restaurant and Conference Center where some workshops will be held. Some wheelchair-adapted rooms are available.

Rates: $ and $, single or double. If you would like a roommate, inform us of your smoking preference and we will include you on a list of those seeking shared accommodations. Call 812/682-4491 or 800/782-8605 for reservations.

Barn Abbey Retreat Center
The Barn Abbey is a rustic (but air-conditioned!) retreat center featuring small double rooms with bunk beds (one quad room) and shared toilet and shower facilities. Rooms are on the first and second floors; there is no elevator. Barn Abbey residents may use New Harmony Inn pool and spa facilities for a weekly fee. All breakfasts and lunches will be served at the Abbey; craft lectures and other RopeWalk events will be held in its common room. The Barn Abbey is within easy walking distance of the New Harmony Inn.

We cannot guarantee single rooms at the Barn Abbey. Requests for single rooms will be logged when received and honored after June 1 if space permits.

About the Barn Abbey

No smoking or alcohol.
Rooms are furnished with bunk beds, a small chest of drawers and a hanging rod. Linens, including towels, are provided.
Individual rooms do not lock.
Individual rooms do not have telephones; however you may receive incoming calls at 812/682-5712. Outgoing calls may be made collect or by using a credit card; a pay phone is available at the Inn.
The Barn Abbey "belongs" to RopeWalk from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. We are unable to provide lodging at the Barn before or after June 7-13.

Rates: $25/night (non-taxable). Preference will be given to those staying at least Sunday-Saturday nights. NOTE: Lodging at the Barn Abbey is subsidized by RopeWalk. Payments are to be made to USI on arrival by check, money order, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover). Reservations should be made through USI Continuing Education, 812/464-1989 or 800/467-8600.

Harmonie State Park
Eleven housekeeping cabins, 200 campsites, about five miles outside New Harmony. The park has an outdoor pool and an abundance of deer.

The Four Seasons Motel
Forty-four rooms with bath, all with refrigerator and coffee maker, some rooms with microwave; HBO/CNN/ESPN; outdoor pool; complimentary continental breakfast. Located in Mount Vernon, Indiana, about sixteen miles from New Harmony. Rates and reservations: Call 812/838-0538 or 800/264-1405.
