Retreat
Fees
Tuition for the 2009 RopeWalk Writers Retreat is $645, which
includes workshops, individual conference, readings, receptions, and
conference meals (see
http://www.usi.edu/ropewalk/schedule.asp).
Those who wish to enroll in a second workshop may do so for an additional
$295. A nonrefundable registration fee of
$100 is due by May 2; the balance is payable by June 2.
Registration is limited to twelve per workshop based upon receipt of
registration fees. Payments may be made by check, money order, VISA,
MasterCard, or Discover. The workshop fee, less the
$100 registration fee, is refundable until June 2, 2010.
Scholarships
The RopeWalk Writers Retreat and master classes
offer a limited number of full and partial scholarships based solely on
merit. To apply, send a letter of application addressed to the Ropewalk
selection committee with relevant biographical information and writing
sample--maximum of three poems or 20 pages of fiction/nonfiction
[Manuscripts should be typed, double spaced, and your full name should

well-written letter of application has been known to be the tiebreaker. The
scholarship application deadline is April 15; winners will be notified May
5.
