Overview of the Romain Subaru Screaming Eagles Running Series

The 2013 Romain Subaru Screaming Eagles Running Series is a three race series with each race being held at the University of Southern Indiana (USI). Each course explores a different aspect of the campus and area around the campus. The purpose of the series is to encourage the community to participate, interact, and get involved with the USI students and campus. Listed below is the basic information about each race: Hearts on Fire 5K, Run of Luck 7K, and Spring into Fitness 10K.

The 5K will solely feature the USI campus. The inaugural HOF 5K race in 2010 is proud to be known as the largest “first time” 5K in the Evansville area with 750 registered participants.

The 7K will begin on USI's campus, loop onto Schutte Road, and will finish on the Burdette bike path. This 13th Annual race historically has a large community following for the Evansville area, consisting of an average of 1000 participants yearly.

The inaugural 10K will be a great chance to see the whole Burdette bike path, as the course runs from USI to Burdette and back on the path.
