Alumni Hall of Fame

 

The Pott College of Science and Engineering Alumni Hall of Fame was established to honor alumni who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in their careers or who have made significant contributions at the local, state, national and/or international levels. Candidates must have earned a degree from the Pott College of Science and Engineering not less than 10 years prior to consideration.

 

Nominations may be made by faculty, alumni and friends of the College throughout the academic year.  Once nominated, an individual will remain eligible for consideration by the selection committee for five (5) years.  In order to nominate future Hall of Fame members, a complete nomination form must be submitted to the selection committee by January 1 for an individual to be considered for the following year.

 

The inductees will be honored each spring the College's Annual STEM Dinner. A portrait plaque recognizing the recipient and their accomplishments will be placed on the College “Wall of Fame” located outside the Pott College of Science and Engineering Deans’ Office.  Recipients will receive also receive a copy of the plaque.

 

 

Selection Committee

The committee will be comprised of one full-time faculty member from each of five departments within the Pott College of Science and Engineering, with the Dean of the College serving as Chair. The committee members will serve a two-year term and may be re-appointed to serve a maximum of two successive two-year terms.
