Common ragweed's nasty pollen causes much misery to hay-fever sufferers.

The tiny flowers grow along long spikes. The slender leaves are deeply cut and lacy.

Frequency: Grows profusely in the open sunny field.

Blooms: From August until the end of summer

Range: Found throughout Indiana and in most of the eastern and northern United States
