Interesting info

The broad, pointed, three-part leaves blend well with the nearby poison ivy.

The small pink flowers are found on a leafless stalk that rises above the leaves.

Frequency: Found only occasionally in drier areas of the woods.

Blooms: June and July

Range: Found in rich soil throughout Indiana; found only rarely in moist habitats.

Also known from New England to North Dakota and from Florida to Texas.
