Height: Sprawling plant, about 1' - 2 ' high. May grow taller if supported by other plants.

Frequency: Found occasionally in low areas of the shady woods. Similar species seen in the sunny field.

Blooms: August.

Range: Common throughout Indiana.

Also known from New England to Minnesota and from Florida to Texas.
