American Chemical Society

Indiana Kentucky Border Section

March 2004 News Letter

Note from the Chair:
I am honored to be the Chair of our local Section for 2004 and am excited about the events planned for the year. The ACS has provided us with four speakers this year, with talks ranging from the chemistry of flight to nonequilibrium thermodynamics. This year, the Section plans to be involved with National Chemistry Week and the National Chemistry Olympiad. There are also plans to participate in the ACS activities for Earth Day. These are great ways for the local ACS to reach out to the community and I encourage you to become involved in these events. Our first meeting of the year is March 22 and I hope to see you there.
