A Message from

 the IN-KY Section Chair:

It’s time to get involved with your local section!!!

Our section has over 180 members of different backgrounds, ages and professional affiliations.  The local section activities in the next few months will celebrate our diverse membership. We invite you to participate in our events.

The new local Younger Chemists Committee chapter is sponsoring an undergraduate poster session.

October is a busy month.  Section members, mostly from the area universities and GE affinity and volunteer groups, are sponsoring activities including a Girl Scouts Science Event at USI, Hands on Discovery at the Children’s Museum and National Chemistry Week visits.

There are several meetings on the schedule.  Come to dinner before the meeting and chat with other area chemists.

We will end the fall with a holiday celebration on Friday, December 8 at the Reitz Home Museum.

If you would like to participate in any of these events, please contact me.

I hope to see you soon!!
