VPAA FACULTY DEVELOPMENT TRAVEL FUNDS

University faculty members may apply to the Vice President for Academic Affairs for Faculty Development Travel Funds. A separate application for such  funds is no longer required. Instead, application is made by completing the section concerning Faculty Development travel funds on the Travel Authorization Form. To be considered for funding, the applicant must check at least one item in this section (e.g., “present a paper”).

Current yearly funding amounts available to individual members of the faculty are as follows.

• For out-of-country travel: up to $500 per trip; up to $800 total for one academic year.

• For in-country travel: up to $300 per trip; up to $700 for one academic year.
