• Cascades Volcano Observatory: information about the Mt. St. Helens eruption and monitoring of the Cascade volcanoes--the inspiration for the geologists in Dante's Peak.
• The Hawaii Center for Volcanology at the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology of the University of Hawaii (Manoa) includes information about past and current eruptions in the Hawaiian Islands with images and data.

• The U.S. Geological Survey Water Resources Division Home Page is a good beginning point.

• The National Water Data Exchange (NAWDEX).
