I came to USI because I heard first hand from my older sister what a great school it was. She told me that the education and mathematics departments were excellent.

I majored in mathematics because I always loved math in school, and it was the one subject that came naturally to me. I am also getting my secondary education teaching certificate, because I love working with children. I want to help students learn and understand mathematics since I find it to be such a fascinating subject.

Upon graduation, I hope to get a teaching job either in high school or middle school mathematics in Evansville or my home town of Vincennes .
