of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics or its content suppliers
and protected by US and international copyright laws. Any commercial use
of the images, text, programs or other materials found in the NCTM E-Standards
Website is strictly prohibited, without the express written consent of
the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics .

Responsibility
The USER assumes all responsibility for use of the NCTM E-Standards Website.
The USER waives all claims against the National Council of Teachers of
Mathematics, its officers, directors, employees, suppliers, and programmers
that may arise from the utilization of the NCTM E-Standards Website. The
USER acknowledges, by use of the NCTM E-Standards Website, that your use
of the site is at your sole risk, that you assume full responsibility
for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any
equipment the USER uses in connection with the NCTM E-Standards Website
content, both online and off-line, and that the National Council of Teachers

If the USER is dissatisfied with the NCTM E-Standards Website or any content
on the site, or with the NCTM E-Standards Terms of Use, the USER'S sole
and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the NCTM E-Standards Website.
Conditions
for Linking to the NCTM E-Standards Website
You may link to the NCTM E-Standards Website for nonprofit educational
purposes and pursuits. Groups or persons who link to the NCTM E-Standards
Website without clear evidence of instructional or educational intent
will be directed to remove the link. NCTM reserves the right to request
removal of any link it deems offensive or inappropriate, at any time.
The link
must link to content within the standards.nctm.org website only. If a
link is contained within a frame, the link must open within a window that
is occupied solely by NCTM E-Standards content.
Permission
for any use of NCTM E-Standards content, including graphics, must be cleared
separately through the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. NCTM
requires notification if the nature of your website changes from what
it was at the time of this request.
NCTM
E-Standards Applets Terms of Use
These Terms
of Use apply to all NCTM E-Standards applets and e-examples referred to
hereafter as E-Standards applet content.
All E-Standards
applet content is copyrighted by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
(NCTM), © 2000 NCTM. E-Standards applet content may be used, duplicated,
or distributed only under the following conditions.
1. E-Standards
applet content is for individual use only. Multiple copies should not
be made or distributed. In particular, bulk distribution is not allowed.
The resources may be distributed by an individual teacher in a single
classroom or lab under standard copyright regulations regarding fair educational
classroom use. This does not permit loading of content on a network for
multiple classrooms or labs.
2. E-Standards
applet content may only be used for educational purposes.
3. E-Standards
applet content may only be used for non-profit purposes.
4. In addition
to the above points, users must comply with the General Terms of Use for
the E-Standards Website, found at http://standards.nctm.org/info/termsofuse.html.
5. These
Terms of Use must be included with all E-Standards applet content that
is shared, duplicated, or distributed.
