My name is Tim Hertel and I am pursuing an engineering major and a minor in physics.  Some of my favorite classes taken at USI have been the physics classes.   These classes helped me mature in my thought process, which has improved my ability to understand difficult material. 

Class sizes are generally small, so you get personal attention from the professors.  The professors are very personable and try to make the class and material interesting.  They also take the time to make certain the material is understood by the students in the class. 

The physics minor has greatly supplemented my engineering degree and I recommend this program to anyone who wants to truly understand the physical world around them.
